Job summary

99brightminds is seeking a QA Lead with 5-7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, mobile testing, and test automation. You will define testing strategies and lead the QA team to deliver high-quality applications.

Responsibilities include owning test plans, guiding automation efforts with Appium and Selenium, and collaborating with DevOps in CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable releases. Experience with API testing (Postman) and performance testing (JMeter) is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience testing mobile apps (iOS/Android), native and hybrid.
• Hands-on with manual, automated, and end-to-end testing.
• Expertise with Appium and Selenium.
• Experience creating test plans, strategies, and cases.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Performance testing with JMeter.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and managing QA teams.
• Ability to guide automation, performance, and quality initiatives.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Familiarity with Java or Python.
• Experience with bug tracking and test reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
