Job summary

TechFlow, Inc in Montgomery, AL seeks an experienced Test Engineer / QA Lead to drive quality across a DoD software development program. You will lead QA activities, develop automated and manual testing strategies, manage defect lifecycle, and ensure releases meet security, performance, accessibility, and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software QA/test engineering experience in DoD, federal, or large enterprise environments.
• Experience leading both manual and automated testing efforts.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Familiarity with RMF testing evidence requirements and security assessment reporting.
• Experience with API and database testing and test automation development.
• Experience validating WCAG accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of comprehensive software testing activities across the SDLC.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test suites for web apps, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Create detailed manual test cases and procedures for manual validation scenarios.
• Manage defect lifecycle: identification, documentation, prioritization, verification, closure with dev teams.
• Provide testing status, metrics, and quality reports to Government Test Manager and program leadership.
• Support RMF activities with testing evidence and accreditation artifacts.
• Promote quality engineering practices, test automation, and continuous testing throughout the lifecycle.
