Job summary

Hudson Valley Credit Union is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead (Core Systems) to analyze requirements, define testing strategy, and coordinate functional and performance testing for core credit union technologies. The role collaborates with peers, stakeholders and end users to ensure quality and user satisfaction.

You will lead QA activities, develop test plans, oversee 3rd party testers, and drive automation to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years experience creating and executing the testing of IT strategic initiatives and plans is required.
• Minimum 5 years technology experience at a Finanical institution is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and develop testing strategy.
• Create test plans, test cases, and coordinate functional and performance testing.
• Coordinate with IT Assurance and business users to ensure quality.
• Oversee 3rd party testing providers to meet goals cost-effectively.
• Promote Lean Six Sigma practices and adherence to policies.
