Job summary

ADESA is seeking detail shop staff to ensure “First Time Right” quality across the detail line. You will inspect workmanship, train teammates, and support final detailing tasks to deliver clean, well-presented vehicles.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of detailing experience, basic computer skills, and a strong safety mindset. This is a fast-paced role with opportunities for growth and company benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to use cleaning tools such as vacuums, pressure washer, drill, cleaning chemicals and jump boxes.
• 1 - 2 years of auto detailing experience preferred.
• Auction knowledge and experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of work done by each team member and communicate with staff about quality goals.
• Identify strengths of detailers to assign tasks effectively.
• Train team members on standard operating procedures for vehicle detail.
• Assist on the detail line and perform final detail tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and report incidents.
