Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a QA Lead for the 2nd shift at our Manawa, WI location. This role leads quality assurance activities, supports hourly team members, and acts as the first point of contact for issue resolution while driving CI improvements.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years FS&Q experience and familiarity with MS Office and SAP. Join a team focused on food safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Food Safety & Quality (FS&Q) or related experience.
• 6–12 months of employee training, coaching, or leadership experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP and data entry experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow, schedules, and task assignments to support production needs.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards through audits and documentation.
• Train, coach, and support employees on FS&Q and safety procedures.
• Drive improvements using CI tools and track/report performance metrics and conduct audits.
• Promote safe work practices and assist with issue resolution.
• Serve as a backup for various QA Tech roles, cover as needed.

About the Role:

The Quality Assurance Lead position at the Manawa location provides support to hourly team members in Quality operations. This role acts as the first point of contact for issue resolution within the department, ensuring proper escalation when needed. Driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Manage daily workflow, schedules, and task assignments to support production needs. Providing coverage as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards through audits and documentation.
• Train, coach, and support employees on FS&Q and safety procedures.
• Drive improvements using CI tools and track/report performance metrics and conduct audits.
• Promote safe work practices and assist with issue resolution.
• Serve as a backup for various QA Tech roles, cover as needed.

This is a full-time permanent role starting at $29.87/hour + $0.55 shift premium. Core hours are 1:45p-10p, Monday – Friday. Schedule may vary based on operations needs.

About You:

• 6–12 months of employee training, coaching, or leadership experience preferred
• 1–3 years of Food Safety & Quality (FS&Q) or related experience
• Demonstrated experience in the following programs (e.g., Microsoft Office, SAP, data entry)
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
