Job summary

Ethereum Technologies in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an experienced QA lead with 8+ years of hands-on QA to guide a team of 4 QA professionals. You will own automation across UI, API and mobile testing using Selenium, Appium, Rest-Assured and Java (above Java8).

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with CI/CD (Jenkins), BDD (Cucumber), and collaboration in an Agile/DevOps environment. You will design test plans, review results, and drive quality across deployments, communicating clearly

Qualifications

• 8+ years of QA experience and ability to lead a team of 4 QA professionals.
• Strong Java programming skills (above Java 8).
• Hands-on automation testing across UI and mobile using Selenium and Appium.
• Experience with API testing using Rest-Assured or similar.
• Proficient SQL experience with various databases.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute complex automated test scripts for business-critical automation.
• Plan test activities and estimate projects using TCP Estimation Methodology.
• Maintain and review test cases in JIRA; perform RCA for defects.
• Share daily status updates and provide Go/No-Go decisions for releases.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies: planning, backlog grooming, sprints.
• Lead QA team and coordinate with developers and operations in CI/CD pipeline.

• 8+ years of hands-on QA experience with ability to lead a team of 4 QA professionals.


• Expertise in Java programing language above Java8


• Practical experience with Automation testing and coding skills in Core Java


• Practical knowledge of one UI & Mobile automation tool (Selenium, Appium etc.).


• Proficient in API Testing with any automation tool (Rest-Assured/HTTP Client).


• Strong SQL experience with various databases.


• Practical automation frameworks experience in Gherkins-Cucumber (BDD).


• Experience in Agile methodology and DevOps with Integrating automated tests in Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline.


• Good communication skills to work effectively in a global team.


• Self-motivated, problem solver.


• Willingness to learn and grow.


• Creation and execution of complex automated test scripts for testing business critical automation scripts using tools such as Java based Framework, Java, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, TestNG, Gradle and Jenkins.


• Need to possess Java development experience and have contributed towards the Framework creation/customization based on the requirements


• Test planning and Estimation of projects using TCP Estimation Methodology.


• Maintaining all project requirements and execution details on Test Management Tool JIRA. Reviewing Test Cases, Performing root cause analysis (RCA) for production defects.


• Perform failure analysis for mobile automation, scripts analyze and identify test cases feasible for automation.


• Sharing the Daily Status Report with project stakeholders and providing Go/No-Go decisions for production releases.


• Involved in Agile Process from attending Scrum Call, Backlog Grooming and Sprint Planning & Sprint Retrospective for all the deliverables
