Job Title: QA Lab Tech
Location: Montgomery, IL
Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (OT as needed), including Saturdays when production is active

Position Summary: Responsible for equipment and facility inspections, sampling, testing, data recording, GMP audits, and sensory evaluation to ensure product quality meets high standards. Measures, tests, interprets, and records data to support safe, quality products.
Essential Duties: Includes sampling, result interpretation, process audits, reagent preparation, equipment inspection, shelf life management, sensory and analytical testing, record keeping, COA management, equipment cleanliness checks, QA project participation, and behavioral observations related to GMP.
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required; AA or BS in food science, biology, or chemistry preferred. 2+ years manufacturing experience, knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and proficiency in office and production software systems (e.g., AS 400, AX). Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills needed.
Physical & Work Environment: Ability to stand/walk for 8-9 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, work in temperatures of 40°F or less, and work overtime during peak periods.
