Balchem Corporation seeks a Quality Control Technician to perform physical and chemical analyses on raw materials and food products across the manufacturing process. You will collect samples, run analyses, record results, and communicate findings to QA leaders, while adhering to GMP and safety procedures.

The role requires accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic plant environment, with flexibility for off-shift and weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience testing and recording test results.
• Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsabilités

• Collects samples for analysis and distributes them appropriately.
• Performs chemical and physical analysis on product, ingredient and control samples according to procedures.
• Records all product analysis according to laboratory protocols including data entry.
• Communicates critical information regarding analysis, procedures, and test results; handwriting must be legible.
• Cleans and maintains all equipment/materials used; cleans lab area at shift end.
• Follows GMP and safety procedures.
• Provides written reports when requested by QA Manager/Leader.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.
