Job summary

Spectrum is offering a paid, full-time 11-week internship in Charlotte, NC, designed to give real-world experience in the telecommunications field. You will work with two teams, participate in professional development sessions, mentorship, and networking opportunities, and contribute to meaningful software validation projects.

The role targets IT/CS students with a 3.0+ GPA, rising senior status, and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Internship runs May 26–August 6, 2027.

Qualifications

• Rising senior with expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Ability to travel locally for Spectrum intern development events and activities.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing formal validation plans to ensure the delivery of quality software solutions.
• Assisting in validation planning, writing scripts, reporting defects, and validation automation execution.
• Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
• Working on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments.
