Qualifications

• Basic reading/writing and math skills are required; GMP/HACCP/SQF knowledge is preferred.

Summary: Responsible for testing raw and finished products and meticulously entering the results into excel spreadsheets. This position measures, tests, interprets, and records data necessary to assist in the production of safe products that meet the established quality standards.Responsibilities/Duties: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum expectations include but are not limited to:Entering part numbers and addresses into an inventory system.Printing labels and labeling bins and shelves.May help in relocating parts to new locations.Conduct testing on raw and ready to eat productEnter results into Excel speadsheetAttention to detail.Interest in QA (Quality Assurance) is a plus.Ability to lift, push, pull and carry 30 pounds.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasCompletes other duties and projects as assigned by the department manager, process improvements, cost savings, and efficiencies.Supervisory Responsibility: NoSpecific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, ETC:Required education generally a high school diploma or GED; an AA or BS in food science, biology, or chemistry is a plus; or 2 or more years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a quality function strongly encouraged.Requires a basic understanding of GMP’s, HACCP, and SQF guidelines.Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
