Job summary

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC seeks a seasoned QA Inspector to support a USACE Savannah District construction management contract at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, GA. This on-site role requires deep experience with USACE programs.

You will lead three-phase inspections, prepare daily QA reports with photos and observations, review submittals and RFIs, and coordinate with the project team to ensure contract compliance and closeout.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction experience.
• Strong working knowledge of USACE construction contracts, including contract specifications, the submittal register, RFIs and modifications.
• Proven experience performing USACE three-phase inspection (preparatory, initial and follow-up).
• Experience writing daily QA reports and documenting deficiencies through closeout.
• Able to work independently from Day 1 with no training period.
• Able to work on site at Robins AFB, GA and to obtain installation access (federal background check).

Responsibilities

• Perform QA inspections of construction work for compliance with contract drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
• Lead and document preparatory, initial and follow-up inspections.
• Prepare accurate daily QA reports with photos, observations and deficiencies.
• Review submittals and RFIs for contract compliance and coordinate responses with the project team.
• Track deficiencies and verify corrective actions through closeout.
• Monitor the contractor's quality control program and safety performance.
• Coordinate with the USACE project team, the construction contractor and installation representatives.

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to support a USACE Savannah District construction management services contract at Robins Air Force Base (Warner Robins, GA). The client expects this person to make an impact from Day 1 without training, so we are looking for a professional who knows USACE construction contracts and has run the USACE three-phase inspection process. This is an on-site position at Robins AFB, GA.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 15+ years of construction experience.
• Strong working knowledge of USACE construction contracts, including contract specifications, the submittal register, RFIs and modifications.
• Proven experience performing USACE three-phase inspection (preparatory, initial and follow-up).

Preferred Qualifications:

• USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certificate.
• Prior USACE QA/QAR or government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) experience.
• Experience on Air Force bases or other military installations.
• Familiarity with RMS/QCS, UFGS specifications and UFC criteria.
• Lives in or near the Warner Robins / Macon / Perry, GA area.
