Job summary

empirical Foods seeks a QA Inspector to monitor quality throughout the plant, verify raw material receipts, sample materials, and inspect finished products. The role supports R&D to ensure quality, safety, value, and wholesomeness.

You will conduct audits, test equipment, and document findings. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with all staff levels are essential; lifting up to 60 lbs and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a food/restaurant environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
• Perform QA sampling, testing, and data trending for quality control.
• Audit areas for sanitation, monitor for foreign material sources, and report findings.
• Record product samples, lab results, and hold products as needed.
• Assist in product development support to maintain quality and safety.
