Job summary

The Garden City Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to uphold quality standards throughout the plant. This role includes responsibilities such as monitoring raw material receipts, performing equipment audits, and ensuring the cleanliness of facilities. The ideal candidate will possess basic math skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Key duties involve conducting thorough inspections to maintain compliance, sampling products for testing, and providing accurate reports to management. Benefits may include health insurance, 401(k), and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Verifiable ability to perform essential job functions will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all machinery and structures to ensure compliance standards.
• Position will perform audits, monitoring for potential foreign material sources.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance by monitoring and inspecting various areas.
• Responsible for inspection of all raw material trailers.
• Accurate and timely completion of product adjustment forms.
• Perform regularly scheduled product sampling for various tests.
• Will perform inspections on finished product and place on hold for additional inspection.
• Responsible for measurement and recording of quality factors of finished product.
• Responsible for inspecting and manifesting all finished products.
• Provide coverage and assist in areas as needed.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
