Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Monroe Township, NJ is seeking a QA Inspector to perform in-process quality inspections of plastic bottles and ensure GMP-compliant product quality. The role includes dimensional measurements, documentation of results, and collaboration with Production and Quality teams to resolve issues.

The position requires ability to conduct SPC, vision inspection, and leak-detection checks, maintain QA logs, and support dock audits and non-conforming material control.

Qualifications

• Previous QA/QC or manufacturing inspection experience preferred.
• Experience in plastics, blow molding, packaging, or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects and inconsistencies.
• Basic math skills including measurements up to four decimal places.
• Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, specifications, and verbal instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections of plastic bottles according to First Article and In-Process Inspection procedures.
• Conduct dimensional measurements and quality checks throughout the shift.
• Accurately document inspection results while maintaining GMP compliance.
• Perform and validate SPC, Vision inspection systems, and Leak detection systems.
• Perform line-clearance inspections as assigned.
• Release manufactured and reworked products using DC Link according to procedures.
• Identify, isolate, and control non-conforming material.
• Backtrack when non-conforming product identified to contain affected material.
• Communicate quality issues to Shift Supervisor, Lead Inspector, and Group Leads.
• Issue Quality Alerts when required.
• Perform dock audits and tailgate sampling.
• Maintain QA logs, inspection sheets, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor GMP compliance during production and inspection.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional QA duties as assigned.
