Job summary

Victaulic in West Jordan, UT is seeking a QA Technician to inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products per inspection plans and engineering drawings.

You will use calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, dial indicators, and CMMs, prepare NCRs and CAPA documentation, support ISO 9001 audits, and participate in Lean Kaizen events. A high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong attention to detail are required; overtime or weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must-have: High school diploma
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently
• Ability to perform testing (dye-penetrant, magnetic particle, dry film thickness)
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products per inspection plans and drawings
• Visually inspect welded joints for defects per ES1124 and specifications
• Verify dimensions and conformance with drawings and work orders
• Prepare NCRs and assist CAPA with root-cause analysis
• Assist with calibration of inspection instruments and update records
• Support ISO 9001 audits and Lean/Kaizen activities
• Maintain safe work area and communicate quality issues
