Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a QA Inspector to perform startup, in-process, and end-of-run testing of bottles. You will audit and assist Inspector Packers, report quality issues, and follow Safety, Housekeeping, Quality, and Production standards.

Expect 8–12 hour shifts, overtime, and potential coverage for Supervisors as needed. The role requires self-motivation, strong time management, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced plastics environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Experience in plastics or packaging industry a plus.
• Working knowledge of computer operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform first articles inspection after changeovers and line start-ups; approve finished products by confirming specifications and conducting visual tests.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications and communicating adjustments to operator and supervisor.
• Collect representative samples from each production line and perform required tests to ensure product meets specifications.
• Contain nonconforming raw and finished product as per SOP/Work Procedure Manual.
• Document all test/evaluations and follow SOPs and related procedures.
