Quality Engineering Solutions, Inc. (QES)is seeking a QA Inspector/Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality control and a desire to take on challenging projects that impact our business. Projects will be supporting the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Eastern Pennsylvania Northeast extension.Responsibilities and Duties:- Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet the required quality standards
- Identify and document any non-conformities in the production process
- Communicate findings to relevant departments and work with them to implement corrective actions
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our quality management system
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and standards, and ensure that the company is compliant
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of our products
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all quality control activities
- Perform other duties as directed
Required Qualifications:- Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- It is required that candidates have a minimum of two years of PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike, or related transportation construction experience or paving experience.
- TCI-2 or above preferred
- Previous P3 exp preferred
- GED or high school diploma required
Preferred Certifications- NECEPT bituminous and concrete
- ACI
- NICET Level 2 or higher in Highway Construction
Anticipated Hourly Rate:$40.00/hr
The offered salary will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience, and work location.
