Job summary

Monterey & Blackfin Boats is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform in-process inspections of assigned stages to ensure boats comply with company standards. The role requires inspecting hull fabrication, fiberglass, welding, electrical layouts, and mechanical systems for safety and quality as per blueprints.

The Quality Inspector performs in-process inspections of assigned stages to ensure the boat complies with company standards.

The candidate will work closely with many different departments and levels of staff.

Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

You will inspects, tests, and verifies that hull fabrication, fiberglass, welding, electrical layouts, and mechanical systems meet safety rules, blueprints, and high company standards.

They log defects, run on-water or tank tests, and stop non-compliant production work

Monterey & Blackfin Boats is a production-based environment; candidate must have the ability to work safely while meeting production schedules.

One year of Quality experience in the marine industry is strongly preferred.

This is a full-time position with normal work hours of 5:00 am to 3:45pm. Overtime may be required to meet production goals.
