Job summary

TIME Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician in Haslet, TX. The successful candidate will perform detailed inspections during installation phases and document their findings in compliance with ISO 9001. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a related field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Qualifications

Position Overview

The Quality Technician will perform and document inspections during all phases of installation and upfit, including receiving chassis, body, sub-assembly welds, electrical wiring, and final installation, using documented specifications and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all work with a focus on safety for self and others.
  • Conduct detailed inspections during all installation phases, using check sheets, drawings, wiring schematics, and specifications, and document results in compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Perform light‑duty repairs and touch‑ups on defects found during inspections.
  • Document and process quality records.
  • Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets.
  • Access drawings and build specifications in the company network databases.
  • Maintain a clean workspace at all times.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis to support corrective actions for the install department.
  • Assist in the Install and Parts department as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Quality Technician or Inspector, preferably in automotive or heavy‑duty truck industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical functions.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Proficiency with basic tools for minor repairs and adjustments.
  • Capability of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work any shift as required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office applications.
  • Strong attendance record.
  • Willingness to follow direction from a supervisor.
  • Ability to work in an uncontrolled environment.
