Job summary

Suncast Corporation, a leading US-based designer, manufacturer, and distributor of resin products, is hiring a QA Inspector to rotate through production departments and ensure products meet the Manufacturing Process Plan. The role involves testing parts, documenting data, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

This on-site position requires the ability to stand for long periods, read blueprints, and perform basic math and data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and documents.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance concepts is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work with limited supervision.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 6 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Test parts and assemblies using established procedures.
• Follow inspection methods and sampling plans across departments.
• Enter inventory transactions.
• Document data such as non-conformances and inspection results.
• Communicate findings clearly to team.
• Stand and move within the plant during inspections.

The Q.A. Inspector is responsible for determining if our products follow our Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP) and meet established criteria for quality. Q.A. Inspectors will rotate through all production departments.

Responsibilities:

• Test parts and assemblies using established procedures.


• Follow established inspection methods and sampling plans, conduct testing and inspection in any department, including molding, assembly, distribution, and receiving.


• Enter inventory transactions.


• Conduct all work promptly and with accuracy.


• Thoroughly document data such as product non-conformances and inspection findings and clearly communicate results.


• Standing for periods of time and moving on foot throughout the plant conducting inspections is required.


• Support and comply with all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping methods at all times.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Ability to read and understand drawings and documents


• Basic math skills needed


• Basic computer and data entry skills.


• Familiarity with Quality Assurance concepts and inspection experience not required but a strong plus


• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus


• Good interpersonal and communication skills


• Detail-oriented and able to work well without direct supervision


• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred


• Must be able to work 6 days per week

The Anticipated Pay Range for This Position: $20.00-$21.00 hourly

The anticipated pay range listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual pay will be based on but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Suncast employees’ equity. Suncast will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
