Job summary

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking a Quality Assurance Group Leader in Columbia, Missouri. The role focuses on planning and managing the QA group to ensure GLP and CGMP compliance in development and testing services.

The ideal candidate will lead QA staff, oversee audits, review documents, and drive CAPAs while collaborating with Operations and Quality Management to improve quality systems. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of directly related GLP/GMP QA experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience with GLP and/or CGMP and instrumentation like HPLC/GC is preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory settings and QA systems.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day QA activities within the team and mentor staff.
• Review staff work before submittal and sign-off.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA goals aligned with corporate policy.
• Interpret GLP/CGMP philosophy to personnel and keep trainings current.
• Perform quality reviews of controlled documents and CAPA activities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to observations.
• Lead QA metrics to improve quality systems and compliance.
• Ensure timely QA reviews of documents, protocols, and SOPs.
• Provide guidance on quality investigations and corrective actions.
