This position is for 1st shift; Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

As the QA Floor Inspector, you’ll be responsible for ensuring products are produced in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Product Specification criteria. Your role is to improve first pass quality and ensure compliance with cGMPs on the production floor. You will act as the quality expert, guiding and advising operation associates on cGMPs and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) to facilitate the timely release of products and address issues promptly.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Perform in-process testing verifications of manufacturing/packaging data to confirm consistency in testing methodology and test data.
  2. Submit daily analytical and micro samples to QC for testing.
  3. Approve pre-start-up activities, including line/room clearance and initial equipment checks.
  4. Review in-process batch documentation to ensure compliance with product specifications, SOPs, GDPs, and cGMPs in real-time.
  5. Discuss errors directly with line personnel for necessary corrections.
  6. Follow and enforce all safety rules, SOPs, GDPs, and cGMP guidelines.
  7. Perform daily compliance audits and Gemba walks in applicable areas.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, and bend repetitively within a manufacturing environment.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Three or more months of Nestlé QA experience preferred.
  • Required: Prior QA experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Experience working with manufacturing equipment and QA systems/software such as Oracle, AS400, PQM, Captiva, etc.
SKILLS:
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to verbal and written instructions.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $18.27-$22.61. This range is an estimate at the time of posting; final compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
