Job summary

AMD in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an intern/co-op focused on software quality assurance. You will develop and execute automated and manual tests, create test plans, and help prioritize multiple testing tasks across GPUs and operating systems.

You will reproduce and troubleshoot defects and contribute to improving test processes. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a US university in computer engineering, CS, or related fields with interest in PC gaming and graphics technologies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Interest in PC gaming and graphics tech is a plus.
• Exposure to Linux and Windows development/test environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete automated and manual Test Plans/Test Cases with various test strategies.
• Prioritize and manage several concurrent projects and testing tasks.
• Reproduce, troubleshoot, triage defects and drive them to closure.
• Build Test Case/Plan for new features and operating systems (Linux and/or Windows).
