Urrly, Inc. in Austin is seeking a QA Engineer to own quality from wearables to the cloud. This hands-on role involves tracing failures across devices, mobile SDKs, APIs and cloud services, building automation, and leading release reliability improvements.

You will test the full journey from firmware to apps, reproduce complex failures, and deliver fixes or engineering handoffs. The team values ownership and practical AI-assisted testing approaches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA or test-engineering experience, including startup hardware and software.
• Hands-on Bluetooth/BLE testing on mobile devices.
• Experience building automated test suites and CI integration.
• Ability to read and diagnose Swift, Kotlin, or Go code.
• Familiarity with native mobile and cloud systems (Go, Swift, Kotlin, AWS, Firebase Crashlytics, Mixpanel).
• Demonstrated ownership of shipped work.

Responsibilities

• Test wearable firmware, Bluetooth pairing, SDKs, cloud APIs, and the app end-to-end.
• Reproduce failures from devices to cloud and deliver fixes or handoffs.
• Build automated tests into CI pipelines.
• Own triage and release gates across hardware, mobile, and backend.
• Test daily-use conditions: overnight wear, workouts, offline use, and OS updates.
