Job summary

AutoStore in Atlanta, USA is seeking a Software QA Engineer for the Supervisory Control Platform. You will validate computer vision software, image/video pipelines, and platform services across on‑premise and cloud connectivity.

The role collaborates with Software Engineering, QA, Controls, Warehouse software teams and product partners to ensure release readiness and high quality. Remote work is not indicated.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software QA/testing or test automation.
• Experience testing Computer Vision products or AI/ML applications.
• Experience testing APIs, backend services, distributed systems, or platform software.
• Strong test planning, case design, regression, integration, and release validation.
• Hands-on with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, test data management, and quality reporting.
• Ability to validate software using datasets, image/video samples, edge cases, and measurable criteria.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IS or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute test plans for Computer Vision apps and workflows.
• Validate CV software across datasets and real-world warehouse scenarios.
• Build and improve automated test coverage for CV apps, APIs, services, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, reproduce, and track software defects with evidence and impact.
• Support quality gates, risk assessment, and go/no-go input for releases.
• Test full software flow across CV apps, platform components, and cloud connectivity.
• Ensure secure, observable connectivity between on‑premise systems, CV components, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with developers, CV engineers, architects, and product teams to ensure testable requirements.
