Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a QA Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. You will plan and execute functional, system, integration, security, and end-to-end testing for the SSAS monitoring solution, validating the SQL Server data model, ALETL parser, and Power BI reports.

Responsibilities include test strategy creation, test-case development, defects management, regression testing, UAT support, deployment validation, and complete test-evidence packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience testing functional, system, integration, security and end-to-end scenarios.
• Strong SQL Server data-reconciliation and data-model testing capabilities.
• Proficient in SSAS, Power BI reports and related data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute diverse testing types for the SSAS monitoring solution.
• Validate data models, ALETL parser, SSAS DMV and reports in Power BI.
• Manage defects, perform regressions, and support UAT, deployment and validation.
• Develop test strategy, plans, scenarios, and traceability artifacts.
• Maintain a complete traceable test suite linked to requirements and evidence.
• Verify data layers and end-to-end data processing across sources and reports.
• Log defects with details and evidence; verify fixes and regression outcomes.
• Produce test-evidence packs, test summaries, and closure reports.
