Job summary

SummitLogic in Akron seeks a skilled QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will develop and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of QA experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong English communication, and hands-on experience with Selenium, Jira, and Git.

As a QA Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Filipino nationality with English communication skills written and verbal
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
• Experience with manual testing automated testing tools eg Selenium defect tracking systems eg JIRA and version control systems eg Git
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle SDLC and agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Bonus Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools eg JMeter
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
• Experience working in an e-commerce or retail industry

Salary Starting salary of $1200 per month with potential for growth based on performance
