Job summary

RedLine Freight Services in Akron, OH is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products before release. This full-time position is open to candidates of all nationalities and will join a dynamic global company.

You will develop and execute test plans, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues, with a strong emphasis on regression testing and test coverage across user stories and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they are released to the market. This is a full-time position open to candidates of all nationalities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software products
• Identify and report defects working closely with developers to resolve issues
• Perform regression testing to ensure previous defects have been fixed
• Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure proper test coverage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements
• Participate in design reviews to provide feedback on potential quality issues

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
• Familiarity with Agile development processes is a plus
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

$1300 per month negotiable based on experience
