Job summary

XVIVO Software Test Engineer sought to own software quality, validation, and release readiness for XVIVO Digital Services products. This role helps establish repeatable testing practices, preserves product knowledge, and ensures software meets functional, security, regulatory, and user expectations across traditional, AI-assisted, and no-code development.

The position supports an internal product team by maintaining testing standards and audit-ready documentation, aligned with internal quality

Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Knowledge of test case design, regression testing, integration testing, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with Agile development lifecycles and clear stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor's degree as listed in requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests for web apps, APIs, integrations, and related digital services.
• Own regression testing, release validation, defect verification, and production readiness reviews.
• Develop scalable automated test suites to improve coverage and reduce manual testing.
• Document defects with reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, severity, and evidence.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, firmware, regulatory, and QA teams to validate changes.
• Review user stories and acceptance criteria to identify quality risks early.
• Support testing for software updates interfacing with medical device workflows or regulated environments.
• Evaluate AI-assisted and no-code outputs against business, security, compliance, and usability requirements.
• Maintain test documentation, validation evidence, and release records.
• Recommend improvements to testing tools, processes, automation, and release practices.
