Job summary

Motorola Solutions, Envysion division, is seeking a QA Engineer to join a small, agile team. You will develop scalable solutions supporting customers and internal platforms, focusing on high-quality code and continual process improvement.

The role emphasizes test planning, environment setup, defect reporting, and QA process enhancement, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US. Prior Salesforce CPQ and SQL testing experience are valuable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting commercial software applications.
• 2+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ.
• Associates degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience.
• Experience with applications that facilitate customer order to service delivery.
• Relational SQL skills with ability to execute DML for testing.
• Ability to write high-quality functional tests and verify features.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in a collaborative development team with input on product direction.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize test cases and test plans.
• Review test plans to ensure reliable software delivery.
• Set up and manage test environments simulating real-world scenarios.
• Record and communicate defects with actionable detail for timely fixes.
• Maintain quality management system processes and procedures.
• Perform system setup, software installation and configuration, and hardware/software integration.
• Install new and upgraded hardware and software including servers and devices.
