Job summary

Photon is seeking a QA Automation professional to join our team in the United States. The role involves creating test cases, executing manual and automated tests, and planning sprint test cycles.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to remove blockers, manage risks, and ensure smooth end-to-end testing across web, mobile, and API platforms. Qualifications

• 3+ years creating test cases and testing both manual and automation.
• Experience analyzing project scope and preparing test execution plans for sprint releases.
• Participation in Scrum meetings to avoid blockers and dependencies for regression testing.
• Coordination across teams to track execution, communicate progress to leadership, and raise risks with mitigations.
• Experience with cross-functional teams handling blockers from web services or third‑party environments.
• Experience writing and developing high‑quality test/code for Web/Mobile/API platforms.
• Create/review BDD feature files for iOS and Android apps.
• Coordinating with developers, client QA and business teams for system integration and UAT testing.
• Experience with end-to-end QA planning and execution with integration test teams.
• Automation frameworks: Selenium for web, Appium and Playwright for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Lead regression test planning and execution across web, mobile, and API platforms.

• 3+ yrs. of experience in creating Test cases and testing both manual and automation.
• Prior experience in analyzing project scope and preparing test execution plans for sprint releases.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and make sure there is no blocker or dependency to start the regression testing.
• Coordinate with various team to track the execution status, communicate to project leadership team and raise risks along with mitigation plan.
• Prior experience in working with cross-functional teams in case of any blocker from web service or another third‑party environmental issue.
• Having experience in developing and writing high‑quality coding that meets customer requirements in Web/ Mobile / API platforms based on the project need.
• Create/review BDD feature files for both iOS and Android apps.
• Good experience in coordinating with peer developers, client QA and business teams for system integration and UAT testing.
• Coordinate with the Integration test teams in planning and executing the end-to-end QA and product testing.
  Experience with Automation test frameworks - Selenium for web automation and Appium, Playwright for mobile app automation.
