Responsibilities

Job description

• Prepare and execute manual and automated tests for Jira tickets and new features
• Perform regression testing to safeguard existing functionality
• Review failed automation tests and determine whether the root cause lies in the application, test data, environment, or automation
• Create and maintain test cases and test steps aligned with requirements and acceptance criteria
• Report and document bugs with clear, reproducible steps
• Monitor ServiceNow tickets and open defects daily, investigate reported issues, and collaborate with developers and other teams to resolve defects
• Support releases by validating deployments and monitoring pipeline results
• Participate in defect triage and sprint ceremonies as part of the wider Agile team

Требования

• Hands-on experience in manual testing: functional, integration, regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end
• Ability to design test scenarios, test cases, and regression suites based on requirements, acceptance criteria, and system documentation
• Practical experience with Jira and Xray for test management and defect tracking
• Experience with API testing using Postman or Bruno, including request/response and payload validation, HTTP status codes, and integration testing
• Confidence writing SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting
• Experience with test automation using Playwright and TypeScript
• Experience working across DEV, QA, and Production environments, including production support and analysis
• Ability to read Elastic and Azure/Application logs to investigate issues
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar tools for support and incident management, and familiarity with root-cause analysis
• Familiarity with Git/GitLab and a basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline monitoring and release validation
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum sprint-based work, strong analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Clear communication with developers and cross-functional teams, and confidence driving defects through to resolution
