Job summary

Ring, an Amazon company, is seeking a QA Engineer to verify ecommerce Websites and Ring mobile apps in a fast-paced environment in Austin, TX. You will design and execute test plans, build automation, and drive quality for multiple releases across web and mobile platforms.

You will work with a collaborative team to translate requirements into effective tests, identify risks, and deliver thorough failure reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA engineering experience.
• Experience in automation testing.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and convert them into QA-understandable test cases and test plans.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases/suites for web and mobile applications (iOS/Android/Fire platforms).
• Build and maintain stable, reusable test automation for web applications and mobile apps.
• Drive test execution across multiple releases, triaging errors effectively.
• Troubleshoot issues to root cause and create detailed bug reports.
• Evaluate application performance and functionality; identify risks and quality gaps.
• Prepare test completion reports for management to review releases.
• Participate in test planning and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Work with a team of QA engineers testing concurrent software releases.
