Job summary

Modular Mining Systems in Phoenix/Tucson is seeking an entry-level QA Engineer I to support the Product Development team with software quality assurance. You will design, implement, and run unit and automation tests, and help improve testing processes across the software stack.

Responsibilities include developing tests, maintaining traceability to requirements, and assisting in risk-based testing and test data creation. A collaborative, detail-oriented candidate will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Systems Engineering, or related field with QA focus.
• Experience with requirements management, quality control, and configuration management.
• Understanding of networking protocols (wired/wireless).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail oriented with solid planning and communication.

Responsibilities

• Participates in test planning, traceability to requirements, risk-based testing, estimation, and scheduling.
• Develops and maintains test cases, traceability, procedures, scripts, and test data for verifying quality of OEM Drivers.
• Develops and executes plans to identify, document, and mitigate technical risks.
• Directly participates in the execution of manual and automated system test procedures for delivering reports of pass/fail results compared to quality plan.
• Continuous monitoring and enhancement of approaches and methodologies to improve testing.
