Job summary

IntraFi is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Sweep Team. You will collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to build deep product understanding and ensure quality through manual and automated testing across APIs, databases, and services.

You will write automated tests, participate in sprint planning, validate data integrity with SQL, and support offshore QA teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases. A strong customer-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI tools to optimize workflows and productivity.
• Minimum 5 years in software quality assurance within Agile environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to craft test plans and documentation.
• Hands-on with automated testing tools and frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Geb, Groovy, Cucumber, JavaScript, WebDriverIO; API testing with Postman, REST-assured.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and Angular; strong PL/SQL and Oracle database testing.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and monitoring (Splunk); experience with Atlassian suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality, performance, and user expectations.
• Participate in sprint planning and define testable acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing to find defects and usability issues.
• Test edge cases and validate data integrity across systems.
• Collaborate with offshore QA teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Write and run SQL queries for data validation.
• Test APIs, encryption, file management, queue services, and databases.
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual effort.
• Contribute to production stability via on-call support.
• Maintain customer-first focus on UX, performance, and security.
