Job summary

The ideal candidate has a 3–5 year background in QA, knowledge of Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, and experience with Jira/Confluence. A Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python or JavaScript).
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our software products.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers to translate requirements into effective test cases.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new features don’t impact existing functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and QA.
• Document test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to process improvements in development.
• Work with product and project teams to ensure software meets client expectations.
