Job summary

JetBrains is seeking a QA Engineer to own testing for IntelliJ IDEA and related JVM frameworks. You will balance manual exploratory testing with automated development and collaborate with developers and product managers to prioritize issues.

You will improve stability across Windows, macOS, and Linux, maintaining scalable test suites and ensuring reliable releases. A flexible work location is offered with strong compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience testing commercial software applications.
• Fluency in English and ability to explain technical problems clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory testing of new and existing features to uncover edge cases.
• Run regression tests to ensure platform stability before releases.
• Maintain, write, and scale automated test suites.
• Reproduce user-reported issues and provide technical support to resolve them.
• Collaborate with developers to diagnose system bugs and share product knowledge.
• Work with product managers to estimate priority and business impact of issues.
