Job summary

RedLine Freight Services in Akron, OH is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products before release. This full-time position is open to candidates of all nationalities and will join a dynamic global company.

You will develop and execute test plans, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues, with a strong emphasis on regression testing and test coverage across user stories and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Identify and report defects and work with developers to fix issues.
• Perform regression testing to ensure fixes remain.
• Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria for test coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements.
• Participate in design reviews to flag quality issues.
