Job summary

Adentis Portugal is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated tests across API, UI, integration, regression, and data layers in a fast-paced Agile environment. Translate user stories into robust test scenarios and contribute to AI-assisted test generation and CI/CD integrations.

You will work with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and REST-assured, advocating shift-left testing and coordinating with incident analysis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA/software testing with at least 3 years writing test automation in production codebases.
• Solid coding skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST-assured, or equivalent.
• Strong API testing skills (REST, JSON, contract/schema validation) and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Practical use of AI tools (LLMs/Copilot) and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Fluent English (primary working language). French or Spanish a plus.

Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure) and configure quality gates and dashboards. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, promote shift-left testing, and collaborate on incident management and root-cause analysis.
