Job summary

Robusta Technology Group (RTG) is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure quality and reliability across our software products. You will drive manual and automated testing in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentor QA staff to elevate testing standards.

Responsibilities include designing test plans, building end-to-end automation, verifying requirements, and tracking defects to resolution in an Agile/hybrid environment. Remote collaboration with international teams may occur.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in software QA.
• At least 2 years in a senior or lead QA role.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Proven ability to design and execute test plans.
• Strong debugging and edge-case identification.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid environments.
• Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.

About the Role

We are looking for aSenior QA Engineerto join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. You will drive both manual and automated testing efforts while contributing to continuous quality improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) automated test suites.
• Verify that software implementations meet business and functional requirements.
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure consistency, completeness, and testability.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through to resolution.
• Suggest product and functionality improvements based on usability and quality standards.
• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure product stability and quality.
• Support regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve quality issues and improve development processes.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance and quality control is a must, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead QA role.
• Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing, including hands-on experience with automation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites for complex software systems.
• Strong track record of identifying, isolating, and documenting critical bugs and edge cases, with a reputation for meticulousness and attention to detail.
• Experience leading and mentoring QA teams and managing quality processes in Agile or hybrid development environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders and translate technical findings into business value.
• Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
