Job description

Xsolla is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate QA Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to building cutting-edge solutions for the gaming industry. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products and systems. You’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences to our partners and users. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of ownership, and a passion for gaming and technology, we would love to have you on board.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review system specifications and translate requirements into effective test cases for Offerwall features
• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases across frontend, backend, and integrations.
• Execute manual and automated tests across web, mobile web, and API surfaces.
• Assist with test data setup, including mock MMP events and reward simulations.
• Log and track issues using JIRA; triage regressions across microservices and frontend releases.
• Participate in release cycles and regression testing across environments.
• Validate integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., MMPs like Apps Flyer or Adjust, IGS/DDH).
• Contribute to automated testing frameworks used across services.
• Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and design on specs, bugs, and user edge cases.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3–5 years of QA experience, ideally in SaaS, AdTech, or eCommerce environments.
• Experience testing modern web apps and backend services (REST APIs, data pipelines).
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and documenting issues clearly.
• Hands-on experience with Postman or other API testing tools.
• Comfortable testing across environments (staging, prod-like)
• Basic SQL knowledge to query test data or validate campaign state.
• Basic understanding of backend workflows, caching (e.g., Redis), and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Experience in Agile

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with test automation
• Familiarity with AdTech
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with load/performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
