Ethereum Technologies in Tampa is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure software quality, reliability and product functionality through rigorous testing practices. You will develop test strategies, execute manual and automated tests, and collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with manual testing, test automation using Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/Appium, API testing with Postman/REST Assured/SoapUI, SQL validation, and defect

Role Summary:

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring software quality, application reliability, and product functionality through comprehensive testing processes. This role involves developing test strategies, executing manual and automated test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Testing Skills & Technical Requirements:

Strong experience in software quality assurance and software testing.

Knowledge of manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.

Experience developing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.

Understanding of SQL queries and database validation.

Familiarity with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.

Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Experience with CI/CD tools and test automation integration is preferred.

Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies.

Create and execute manual and automated test cases.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

Identify, document, track, and report software defects.

Conduct API testing and validate backend data using SQL queries.

Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve reported issues.

Perform test result analysis and prepare quality status reports.

Experience & Professional Competencies:

4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case execution.

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

Understanding of application architecture, APIs, and database testing.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Educational Background & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Master's degree is preferred.

ISTQB, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), or relevant QA automation certifications are an advantage.
