Artifintech is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure software quality across the development lifecycle. You will design test strategies, develop and run manual and automated tests, and work closely with developers to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 4+ years of QA experience, strong API testing, and familiarity with SQL and defect-tracking tools. A Bachelor’s in CS/IT/SE is required, with ISTQB/CSTE certifications a plus. This is a US-based opportunity in Tampa, FL.

Role Summary:

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring software quality, application reliability, and product functionality through comprehensive testing processes. This role involves developing test strategies, executing manual and automated test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Testing Skills & Technical Requirements:

Strong experience in software quality assurance and software testing.

Knowledge of manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.

Experience developing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.

Understanding of SQL queries and database validation.

Familiarity with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.

Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Experience with CI/CD tools and test automation integration is preferred.

Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Educational Background & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Master's degree is preferred.

ISTQB, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), or relevant QA automation certifications are an advantage.
