Job summary

Freeplay LLC. is expanding its QA team and seeks a QA Engineer to test mobile games across iOS and Android. You will analyze requirements, design tests, and conduct functional, interface, usability, and localization testing while reporting results.

You will collaborate with PMs, Producers, and Developers to ensure quality and timely releases. The role emphasizes crash analysis, analytics testing (Firebase, GameAnalytics, Yandex AppMetrica), and familiarity with remote configurations in a

• 1+ year of experience in testing mobile games.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and its testing approaches.
• Proficiency with Android Studio, Xcode, MMP (AppsFlyer).
• Experience in analytics testing (Firebase, GameAnalytics, Yandex AppMetrica).
• Experience working with remote configurations.
• Analyzing crash reports, monitoring crash metrics (Google Play, Yandex AppMetica, Firebase Crashlytics).
• Understanding of the differences between mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
• Experience testing mobile games/applications (iOS, Android).
• Experience in localization testing.
• Understanding of client-server applications, including web apps.
• Knowledge of testing theory and practical application.
• Strong analytical skills, memory, stress resilience, and willingness to learn.
• Experience in test planning and task estimation.
• Experience using AI tools for testing.
• Russian - native or fluent (required).

• Designing tests and creating test documentation;
• Conducting tests (functional, interface, usability, localization, performance, etc.);
• Working with a bug tracking system;
• Reporting test results;
• Interacting with the project team (PM, Producer, Developer, etc.), participating in meetings.

What we’re looking for in a candidate:

• 1+ year of experience in testing mobile games;
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and its testing approaches;
• Proficiency with Android Studio, Xcode, MMP (AppsFlyer);
• Experience in analytics testing (Firebase, GameAnalytics, Yandex AppMetrica);
• Experience working with remote configurations;

• Understanding of the differences between mobile platforms (iOS/Android): purchases, application lifecycle;
• Experience testing mobile games/applications (iOS, Android);
• Experience in localization testing;
• Understanding of the fundamentals and principles of client-server applications, including web applications;
• Understanding of testing theory and the ability to apply it effectively in practice;
• Strong analytical skills, good memory, stress resilience, responsibility, and a willingness to learn;
• Experience in test planning and task estimation;
• Experience using AI tools for testing;
• Russian - native or fluent (required).

Will be a plus:

• ISTQB certification;
• Experience working with Charles, Postman, Unity;
• Experience with projects without documented requirements.
