Job summary

Emids Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to own automated testing for Order Creation across UI, API, and microservice paths. You will build regression suites and support high-quality releases during strangler migrations.

You will create tests with Playwright/Cypress, perform end-to-end and integration testing, and drive quality metrics in collaboration with Business Owners and Dev teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years QA / test automation experience on web and API systems.
• Hands-on with modern automation frameworks and CI integration.
• Experience testing microservices / microfrontends and healthcare applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated tests (Playwright / Cypress / API tests) for Order Creation journeys and contracts.
• Perform exploratory, integration, and regression testing across new and coexisting legacy paths.
• Validate feature-flag behavior, fallback to legacy, and end-to-end observability signals.
• Participate in UAT with Business Owners and maintain test data strategies for masked PHI environments.
• Contribute quality metrics and improvement items to Inspect & Adapt.
