Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a QA Engineer to join our on-site team in Fremont, CA. This role focuses on SDET responsibilities, building and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, and Selenium to ensure high-quality software across UI, API, and database layers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in QA automation, strong SQL skills, and a proven track record of delivering scalable test automation solutions in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SDET, QA Automation Engineering, or Software Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands- on programming experience with Python.
• Strong experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Experience with Selenium and automation framework maintenance or migration.
• Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms, Design Patterns, Software Engineering Best Practices.
• Advanced SQL skills, including data validation, joins, and backend analysis.
• Experience with end-to-end test automation across UI, API, and database layers.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
