Job summary

Wolfspeed, Inc. is hiring a Quality Engineer to support the Fayetteville, AR site on all aspects of the quality management system.

The role requires collaboration across Quality, Operations and Business teams to track and report processes within the Wolfspeed QMS. You will interface with customers on complaints and returns, lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and oversee manufacturing quality processes including change and non-conformance management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality systems and wafer fabrication.
• Experience auditing to IATF16949, AS9100, or ISO9001 preferred.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to take on the challenging role of Quality Engineer. This position is located onsite at our Wolfspeed manufacturing site in Fayetteville, AR.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of our quality management system, including manufacturing quality, customer quality, and supplier quality for the Fayetteville site.
• Collaborate with internal teams within Quality, Operations, and Business teams to track, maintain, and report on processes within the Wolfspeed Quality Management System.
• Interface with customers on complaints and returns.
• Lead problem solving to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Lead the Manufacturing Quality business processes for the Fayetteville site, including change management, non‑conformance management, and corrective actions.
• Support the Supplier and Incoming Quality global team for the Fayetteville site.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related degree.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality systems and semiconductor wafer fabrication, including module build.
• Strong ability to operate in a fast‑paced, highly dynamic environment and to execute at both a detailed and strategic level.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices.
• Experience with auditing to IATF16949, AS9100, or ISO9001 standards strongly preferred.
• Basic understanding of quality core tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC) is a strong plus.
• Ability to manage tasks effectively in a large, complex, global environment and to prioritize work accordingly.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.
