Job summary

Minth Big and Beautiful Alabama LLC in Gadsden, AL, seeks a Quality Manager to oversee IQC, IPQC, and OQC for energy storage container products. The role blends hands-on inspection with process improvement and compliance under ISO 9001.

You will lead 8D and other problem-solving methods, coordinate across departments, and support audits. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in manufacturing quality management are required; IATF16949 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Quality Management.
• 3+ years of manufacturing quality management experience.
• Familiar with ISO9001; IATF16949 knowledge preferred.
• Proficient with 8D, SPC, FMEA, and MSA.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings; sheet metal/welding exposure.
• Good English reading/writing; customer audit experience preferred.
• Rigorous and cross-departmentally communicative.

Responsibilities

• Perform IQC, IPQC, and OQC inspections of energy storage container products.
• Develop and refine container inspection standards and templates.
• Analyze deviations and drive CAPAs with responsible departments.
• Lead quality improvement projects using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone tools.
• Handle customer complaints and issue CARs to customers.
• Maintain ISO9001 operations and support audits.
• Collect SPC data and generate quality reports for continuous improvement.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for incoming quality inspection (IQC), in-process quality inspection (IPQC), and outgoing quality inspection (OQC) of energy storage container products
• Develop and refine ESS container inspection standards, procedures, and record templates
• Analyze quality deviations during production; drive responsible departments to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Lead quality improvement projects using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagram, and other analytical tools
• Handle customer complaints, conduct internal investigations, and issue Corrective Action Reports (CAR) to customers
• Maintain ISO9001 quality management system operations; support internal and external audits
• Collect and analyze quality data (SPC); produce periodic quality reports and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or related fields
• 3+ years of manufacturing quality management experience; background in energy storage container or sheet metal/welding industry preferred
• Familiar with ISO9001 quality management system; IATF16949 knowledge preferred
• Proficient in quality tools including 8D, SPC, FMEA, and MSA
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings; familiar with sheet metal processing, welding, and assembly processes
• Good English reading and writing skills (preferred for customer audits and English reporting)
• Rigorous, principled, with strong cross-departmental communication and coordination skills
