Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks a Software Developer with a strong QA emphasis to support the NRF Custom Application Team. You will contribute to application development with QA practices, design and execute test plans, and collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key duties include coding with a QA mindset, evaluating testing tools, embedding tests, and developing robust test plans while aligning with user needs and functional requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with relevant experience.
• Minimum years of experience as stated: 6 with a Bachelor's or 4 with a Master's.
• Proven QA/testing-focused software development background.

Responsibilities

• Participate in coding and application development with a QA-focused approach.
• Evaluate and implement software testing tools and frameworks.
• Embed automated and manual tests into development processes.
• Develop, write, and execute comprehensive software test plans.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to meet requirements.
