Job summary

Kwik Trip Dairy in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a Quality Assurance Lab Technician to join our team. You will work closely with the Dairy QA Manager and supervisors to report and analyze products produced in the Dairy.

Responsibilities include daily sensory evaluation, data entry in a web-based system, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with HACCP, FSMA and GMPs. The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or an Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in Food Science or related field.
• Experience with lab testing procedures and QA programs such as HACCP, FSMA and GMPs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Daily sensory evaluation of products and shelf-life studies.
• Enter/deliver lab samples into a web-based data management system.
• Maintain organized, accurate records and enter laboratory data promptly to support QA and food safety requirements.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of laboratory equipment, surfaces, and testing areas.
• Work with Quality Programs and assist in implementing new programs.
• Communicate any quality or food safety issues to management.
